Rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis represents an autoimmune disease in which the body attacks itself and leads to severe destruction of joints (e.g. hands and feet). It is more common for the cervical spine (neck) to be affected by rheumatoid arthritis, although it may produce low back pain.
